Fiat India has released their new TVC featuring Abarth Punto EVO, yes, the hatch with 145 bhp at the disposal of your right foot! Guess what, whenever someone will talk about the Abarth Punto EVO, 145 bhp will always be mentioned next to it! Because, unlike offering power just a whisker over 100 bhp like the rest of the go-fast-hatches around, Fiat has blown away enthusiasts with close to 150 horses!

This hotter Punto is said to be coming next month while the pre-bookings have already started. The vehicle was first showcased at the launch of the Abarth brand in India – 595 Competizione. However, unlike the version showcased at the Abarth’s launch event, Fiat has done some subtle changes. Things like race strips running across the body, the chrome bits around the fog lamps are now highlighted in the glossy contrasting shade. Apart from these, the vehicle is riding on 16-inch diamond-cut Abarth Scorpion alloys, the interiors will be all-black with contrasting red-yellow stitching, Abarth instrument cluster and pedals.

Power comes from an Abarth-tuned 1.4-liter T-JET turbocharged petrol motor which produces 145 bhp and a max torque of 212 Nm. The power is transferred to front wheels through a 5-speed manual unit.
