Land Rover has released a new video teasing the upcoming Ranger Rover Evoque Convertible. The video shows the all-new open-top SUV going through final testing at the automakers Eastnor Castle estate in Herefordshire, U.K.

In order to maintain the brands legendary on- and off-road prowess, the Evoque Convertible had to have its chassis reinforced once the roof was removed. The upgrades to the SUV are said to be transparent from the drivers standpoint.

Land Rover prides itself on being a class leader when it comes to all-terrain capability and the Evoque Convertible is no different, said Mike Cross, Land Rover chief engineer for Vehicle Integrity. Thanks to a combination of innovative engineering and the application of advanced technologies, Evoque Convertible will deliver a dynamic and assured SUV experience that has been tested around the world. We call it The Convertible for all Seasons.

At the 2015 Geneva auto show earlier this year, the automaker confirmed that the Range Rover Evoque Convertible would then be launched next year and it would certainly be an unique offering. For India too we can expect it to be launched late next year and well we do think buyers in India would love it!
