Hyundai, as we know, took the covers off a new special edition based on the popular Creta, at the ongoing Sao Paulo Motor Show. Dubbed Diamond Edition, the crossover comes with plenty of upgrades to the exterior and interior to differentiate it from the standard range.
The Diamond Edition is based on the top-spec Prestige trim and comes with high-end features including a panoramic sunroof, quilted leather seats with three colour options and a new exterior body paint.
This special edition Creta looks the part with the new Blue Deep Dive exterior colour which is complemented by black treatment on the front bumper and the cascading grille. Even the headlamps get a smoked finish, meanwhile, the tail lamps get a completely new LED signature.
Upping the ante are these 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels wrapped in 245/45 profile tyres.
On the inside, the dual tone dashboard is finished in caramel, ivory and brown with expensive materials used all around. The seven-inch multimedia screen comes with navigation and smartphone connectivity and it also gets a 750Watts JBL sound system with three amplifiers, six speakers and a subwoofer. For the rear seat passengers, there are two more screens of 10-inch size each with USB, DVD, HDMI and internet connectivity.
Under the hood of the Creta Diamond Edition is a 2-litre Dual-CVVT Flex bi-fuel engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
According to reports online, the features of the Creta Diamond Edition will eventually make it to the accessories list for the lower spec models in Brazil.
