Once a little known overseas brand, Vee Tire is making serious waves in the U.S. with both road and MTB offerings. The updated Apache Chief that was launched at Interbike utilizes Synthesis technology, a specially woven (and highly visible) lightweight tissue located on the sidewall. The end result, claims Vee, is an all-around tubeless-ready tire that rolls well, is durable, and is highly puncture resistant.
Available in 23c, 25c and 28c, these clinchers have 185 tpi casing and are constructed from Continuum Compound 66A/100A, making them equally at home whether you’re training or racing. MSRP is $60.
