COLEBROOKDALE >> Several used cars for sale were hit when the driver of a sedan veered off the road late Saturday night and ended up in the lot of Irwin’s Auto Repair, 1075 W. Philadelphia Ave.
Colebrookdale Police are investigating the accident that occurred at 11:03 p.m. The car was reportedly traveling west on Route 73 and veered off the road, striking a wooded guide rail and several used cars parked at Irwin’s Auto Repair. The occupant was transported to the hospital by Gilbertsville Ambulance.
“There were three or four cars that got crippled real good,” said Kevin Irwin, of Irwin’s Auto Repair, adding he wasn’t able to provide the estimated damage just yet. He was still trying to get in touch with police to find out what happened.
