Caitlyn Jenner is facing a new lawsuit for her involvement in the February 7 fatal, three-vehicle crash that killed 69-year-old Kim Howe and injured seven others, according toThe Hollywood Reporter. This suit comes from Grammy-nominated composer Peter Wolf-Millesi, his wife Lea, and her mother Elga Maurer, who were all in a vehicle at the time of the crash and are all suing Jenner for injuries they allegedly suffered during the accident. The Wolf-Millesis’ two children, also in the car, are also plaintiffs in the lawsuit.
During the accident, Jenner’s car rear-ended Kim Howe’s, which then swerved into oncoming traffic where it collided with the Wolf-Millesis’. Howe died at the scene following the collision. In the suit, the family details emotional and physical trauma suffered as a result of the crash and seeks unspecified damages for negligence and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Prosecutors have previously declined to press criminal charges against Jenner for the crash after determining there wasn’t enough evidence to support a conviction. In addition to the Wolf-Millesis’ suit, Jenner faces two other suits: One from Howe’s stepchildren and another personal-injury suit from a driver injured in the crash.
