Last time, Mercedes gave us a glimpse at the C63 Coupe’s flared front fenders. Those are again apparent in these shots, but now we get a better look at the car’s profile. Like thestandard C-Class coupe we’ve spied before, the C63 version sports a dramatically raked roofline. We’ve heard that the coupe will have a roofline that’s 1.6 inches shorter than the outgoing model, and as a result passengers will sit nearly an inch lower. Here, we also get a better look at the C63’s front end, which bears the signature AMG “A-wing” front valance and twin-blade front grille. Like the sedan, the coupe features headlights with LED accents.

The C63 Coupe is expected to be powered by the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 as the sedan version. In that car, the engine makes 469 hp and 473 lb-ft of torque in standard trim, and 503 hp and 516 lb-ft in the S model. The coupe will also likely get the same seven-speed automatic transmission, which will send power to the rear wheels. We’ll see both the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe and the standard C-Class Coupe at the 2015 Frankfurt auto show in September. But before we do, you can bet that AMG will keep teasing its latest creation.
