Chinese smartphone manufacturer Zopo, which entered the Indian market last year with the Zopo Speed 7, is set to launch the Zopo Speed 8 in the country on Wednesday. The company has sent out invites for its launch event in New Delhi.
Zopo had unveiled the Speed 8 alongside the Speed 7C at MWC 2016, and it is priced at $299.99 (roughly Rs. 20,100). The highlight of the smartphone is that it’s claimed to be the first to sport MediaTek’s deca-core Helio X20 MT6797 SoC – which is coupled with 4GB of RAM.

The dual-SIM Speed 8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that’s non-expandable.
Connectivity options include 4G (with support for Indian LTE bands), Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro-USB, and FM radio.
Available in Black and White, the Zopo Speed 8 measures 152.5×76.35×9.8mm, and weighs in at 136 grams.
Since the Zopo Speed 7’s launch in August last year, the Chinese manufacturer has launched two other smartphones in India as well – the Zopo Speed 7 Plus and the Zopo Hero 1.
