Zopo Color F2 With Multi-Function Fingerprint Sensor Launched at Rs. 10,790

Zopo on Tuesday launched the Color F2 smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 10,790. The highlight of the smartphone is its ‘multi-function’ fingerprint scanner, embedded on the rear panel, which enables users to control various aspects of the smartphone, such as video and audio playback.

The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) Zopo Color F2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own skin on top. It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC that’s coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Zopo Color F2 sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone bears 16GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB).

Connectivity options offered by the Zopo Color F2 include 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. The smartphone runs on a 2300mAh battery, and measures 153×77.8×8.5mm. Alongside the launch of the smartphone, the company also announced its entry into the Mumbai smartphone market.
Commenting on the launch of the Zopo Color F2, Hau Bing Huang, Sales Director, Zopo Mobile, said, “At Zopo, our mission is to create and deliver only the best to our customers. We always encourage use of innovative technology to design smart and affordable products that can fulfil each and every desire of our valued patrons, a belief that pushes us to create products that ensure greater user experience for all. Thus, driven by this hope, we are confident that the latest Color ‘F2’ smartphone will enable us to achieve maximum growth in Mumbai as well as other Indian cities, and enable Zopo to become a force to be reckoned with in the Indian smartphone ecosystem.”
