In addition to cars like the 2017 Infiniti QX30 and Hyundai Elantra, the Buick LaCrosse, the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, a Scion concept car, and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the upcoming 2015 Los Angeles auto show will also play host to the introductions of the refreshed Nissan Sentra compact sedan, the updated Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback, and the revised Mitsubishi Outlander Sport crossover.
Reports had already revealed that the 2016 Nissan Sentra would be “incredibly freshened”this fall. The compact sedan received various equipment tweaks for 2015, including safety updated that made it an IIHS Top Safety Pick, but overall the car has not received major updates since it launched in the 2013 model year.
We also knew that the ultra-cheap, ultra-small Mitsubishi Mirage would skip the 2016 model year so that a significantly updated version could debut for 2017. Mitsubishi says the car will receive chassis and powertrain updates, but has not offered any more details so far. The Mirage is Mitsubishi’s second best-selling car in the U.S. so far this year.
Mitsubishi top-selling model, the Outlander Sport crossover, is also due for a refresh this year. The car will receive the company’s Dynamic Shield front-end design that’s also present on the larger 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander crossover.
Current versions of the Sentra, Mirage, and Outlander Sport are pictured.
