Samsung Galaxy TabPro S With Windows 10 Announced for India

At the Samsung Forum event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Samsung announced that the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, a Windows 10-based tablet it announced back at CES 2016, will be launched in India sometime in April or May. The company however has not provided pricing details for tablet

To recall, at the CES 2016 launch, Samsung said the tablet will go on sale in launch markets starting February – but did not detail pricing. The Galaxy TabPro S takes on Google’s Pixel C in the markets where its available, and in India, it will take on the iPad Pro, and Surface Pro 4,

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S runs a choice of Windows 10 Home/ Pro and offers top-of-the-line hardware specifications. The 2-in-1 tablet sports a 12-inch Amoled display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440. It is powered by Intel Core m3 processor and 4GB of RAM. The device comes with 128GB and 256GB SSD for storage.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S include a 5-megapixel rear-camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and a 5200mAh battery powering the device.

On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S LTE version also offers 4G LTE Category 6 connectivity, apart from 3G and 2G. There’s a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a Micro-USB 2.0 port. It also comes equipped with GPS and NFC chips.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with a detachable keyboard. There’s a digital pen, too, however, you will need to purchase it separately. There’s also an optional adapter for allowing USB Type-A and HDMI devices. It measures 290.3mmx198.8mmx6.3mm and weighs 693 grams.
