After the Blue Coral variant launched last month, Samsung has announced a new colour option for its successful Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone. The company has introduced the brand new Black Pearl variants – giving its customers a total of seven colour variants to choose from. After initially launching it in select markets, Samsung has now introduced the Blue Coral variant in India as well.
The new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Blue Coral variant will be available in 32GB variant, and is priced at Rs. 50,900. The new colour variant will be available starting December 15 in online and offline stores. To recall, the all-new Black Pearl colour variant was leaked earlier as well, and is now official.
It will only be seen in select markets for now – like local market South Korea. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Black Pearl version will only be available in 128GB version. In Korea it will start selling from December 9, and is priced at KRW 10,12,000 (roughly Rs. 59,000). There’s no word on when this colour variant will be made available in India.

This means that the Galaxy S7 Edge is now available in to Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium, White Pearl, Pink Gold, and Blue Coral, and Black Pearl in different markets. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone was launched at MWC this year, and was bought to India in March priced starting at Rs. 56,900.
In terms of other specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge packs a 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled display. The always-on display lets users check notifications, time, and date without having to wake up the device. It is powered by Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 8890 SoC or the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in varied markets. It comes with 4GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel ‘Dual Pixel’ rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and smart OIS feature, as well as a 5-megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge have IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and the smartphone packs a 3600mAh battery.
