Ride a retro at Carole Nash #MCNFestival

The Carole Nash MCN Festival is fast approaching and this year we have more new bikes than ever before and our biggest fleet of test bikes yet.

There’s something for everybody, from scooters to top of the range sportsbikes, and this year there are plenty of retro models to throw your leg over.

Triumph are bringing along five models from their retro range, including the new Bobber, which impressed our Senior Road Tester Michael Neeves with its impressive handling and ease of use. The Triumph Bobber’s definitely got the performance to back up those looks.

Triumph will also have a Thruxton, T100, Street Cup and Street Scrambler available to test ride throughout the weekend – and they’re all sure to be popular.

Yamaha are also taking plenty of retro metal for test rides, including the much-loved XSR700, XV950R and new SCR950, which has the Triumph Street Scrambler firmly in its sights.

Standard day tickets cost £15 in advance (£20) on the day, and camping tickets start at £30 (based on a group of 4+ adults). Book your tickets by May 8 to take advantage of the advance prices.

Campers get access to the festival on both days, as well as entry into an official round of the UK Speedway championship between Peterborough Panthers and Newcastle Diamonds on Saturday evening. Those with camping tickets will also have access to the Yamaha Dark Side party on Friday and Saturday evening with live music and a licenced bar. Here are the bikes confirmed for our test ride fleet:
