OnePlus 3T India Launch Set for December 2
OnePlus India has finally confirmed that the OnePlus 3T smartphone will be launching early next month. In a tweet, Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India announced the December 2 launch date for the OnePlus 3T.

The Chinese company earlier confirmed to Gadgets 360 that it will “continue to sell the OnePlus 3 in India” which means both smartphones may be available in the market. Considering that the OnePlus 3 is just merely five months old in the market and it has already received an upgrade in the form of OnePlus 3T, it will be interesting to see how the company sells both the phones in various India.

The new OnePlus 3T looks identical to the original OnePlus 3 though there are plenty of upgrades under the hood. The new variant packs an all-new Snapdragon 821 SoC, a bumped front-facing camera, a new 128GB storage model, and even a new colour variant. The OnePlus 3T smartphone despite featuring upgrades has been given a modest price hike. It has already gone on sale in the US while in Europe it will be available starting Saturday, and from Monday in the UK.

Coming to pricing, OnePlus 3T 64GB has been priced at $439 (roughly Rs. 29,800), while the 128GB model will come at $479 (roughly Rs. 32,500). To recall, the OnePlus 3 was launched at $399 (priced at Rs. 27,999 in India) – and it was only available in a 64GB model.

For specifications, the OnePlus 3T sports a faster quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor (two cores clocked at 1.6GHz and two cores clocked at 2.35GHz) compared to the Snapdragon 820 processor on the older OnePlus 3. It comes in both 64GB and 128GB storage options, compared to just a 64GB variant on the OnePlus 3. For camera, the OnePlus 3T is superior in terms of camera resolution. The OnePlus 3T has 16-megapixel cameras on both – rear and front – sides. The newer OnePlus 3T gets a bigger 3400mAh battery, compared to the 3000mAh battery seen on the OnePlus 3. The Dash Charge fast charging technology is included in the OnePlus 3T as well.
