NEW DELHI: The all-new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift, which is perhaps the most awaited car of the year, has already been unveiled and bookings opened last month. The new Swift’s official launch is scheduled for the Auto Expo in Delhi next week, where they will reveal the prices.
TOI has learnt from sources that the new Swift is likely to be priced Rs 60,000 more than the existing range. Which means that the third generation version of one of Maruti Suzuki’s best selling cars is pegged to be priced in the Rs 5.8 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh range (base to top model).
The car is available in both petrol and diesel variants along with automatic transmission options. The engines remain unchanged, the 1.2-litre K-series petrol and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel are still at the heart of the new Swift. ( Read about the full specs here )
