MAMAMOO’s Hwasa bought her first car!
On the July 19 episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone,” Hwasa got her driver’s license and went on her first drive.
Hwasa revealed she got a new car and shared, “I got a license. I used to be scared of cars because I got into a big car accident before. I didn’t think I’d get a license, but I thought that I should win over my fear.”
The car she bought is Volvo’s “XC40” model. The vehicle gained popularity for its unique styling, high-tech and convenient specifications, and high stability as a sub-compact SUV.
During the show, Hwasa took her car to meet up with a close friend of hers. Hwasa remarked, “All this time, [my friend] always took me on a drive. She drives very well.”
Park Na Rae made everyone laugh by adding, “When you first drive, you have to do it with someone who can drive. I drove with Jang Do Yeon, but she had no license either, so we both cried on the Gangbyeon Expressway.”
