Lenovo has quietly introduced its new Vibe C2 smartphone in Russia. The new handset from Lenovo is now listed on the company’s Russian site without any pricing or availability details. We can however expect the handset to go on sale soon.
The Lenovo Vibe C2 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset is also expected to come in a 16GB inbuilt storage model.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe C2 runs Vibe UI on top. It supports dual Micro-SIM cards and comes with Waves MaxxAudio technology for audio enhancements. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It measures 143×71.4×8.5mm and weighs 139 grams.
Backed by a 2750mAh battery, the Lenovo C2 smartphone supports 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
Lenovo’s recently unveiled Vibe K5 smartphone was made available via its first open sale in India earlier this month. Interested consumers could purchase the Lenovo Vibe K5 in open sale via Amazon India, which no longer required users to register in advance.
