Lava A88, A71, and X11 Budget 4G Smartphones Launched in India

Lava on Thursday launched three new budget 4G smartphones in India, the Lava A88, A71, and X11. While the A71 is already available in the market at Rs. 6,499, Lava says the other two smartphones will go on sale in the third week of February – the A88 is priced at Rs. 5,499, while the X11 is priced at Rs. 7,999.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Lava A71 sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processer coupled with 1GB RAM. Bearing a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, it also comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It sports 8GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and features a 2500mAh battery. It will be available in Royal Blue, Dream Black, and Regal Gold colours.

The Lava A88 also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch 480×850 pixel display. Powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, the smartphone has 512MB of RAM. Also onboard is a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 4GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It is powered by a 2000mAh battery. It will be available in Black and White colour variants.

The Lava X11 also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is also powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features 8GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).It bears an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera, both sporting LED flash modules. It comes with a 2500mAh battery that’s rated to deliver up to 10.5 hours of talk-time on 3G networks.
