Last week, Hero lifted the wraps off the XF3R at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Though it is more of a design study, the Hero XF3R is an important bike for India as it previews the company’s design language for its future models. Check out the detailed photo gallery of the Hero XF3R –
The edgy headlamp and the LED position lights give it an aggressive look.
The sculpted fuel tank with pseudo air vents complements the SF3R streetfighter character.
The single-cylinder engine comes equipped with liquid cooling and fuel injection.
Though Hero hasn’t divulged details about the capacity, we expect it to displace around 300cc.
The fuel tank is finished in a flashy silver paint scheme and integrates the indicators.
When it comes to technology, Hero has loaded up the XF3R with all the top of the drawer stuff.
The XF3R comes loaded with ABS, dual riding modes and PGM-Fi.
The XF3R is underpinned by a new tubular trellis frame with a die-cast swingarm.
The XF3R gets inverted fork suspension setup at the front, a first for any Hero motorcycle.
The rear wheel rides on an offset monoshock, which gets preload adjustability.
The rear section gets a raised exhaust canister with dual outlets.
The instument cluster is made of a fully-digital electronic display.
