Sidi is one of the biggest brands in cycling shoes and they have stood the test of time, despite an influx of new players to the market. Highlighted here are two all new models for 2016, the Kaos Air Carbon and the Level Carbon for women.
Sidi Kaos Air Carbon
The Kaos is a popular shoe in Sidi’s lineup with a mid-level price tag and some solid features. New for 2016 is the Kaos Air Carbon that features perforations to improve air flow. It has Sidi’s Tecno 3 precision ratchet closures so you can independently micro-adjust the fit across the forefoot and toe area. The Millennium 4 carbon sole has injected carbon fiber in a nylon matrix to provide more rigidity than a regular nylon sole, but at the same time is a bit more comfortable than a full race carbon sole. The Sidi Kaos Air Carbon is available in white (shown) or blue and white and comes in full sizes from 39 to 48 and half sizes from 39.5 to 46.5. Retail price is $299.99 and it will be available from your local Sidi dealer within a few weeks.
Sidi Level Carbon Women
Sidi maintains its strong commitment to women cyclists by expanding their line for 2016 with the all new Level Carbon Women’s specific shoe. Like the Kaos Air Carbon, the Level Carbon W features Sidi’s Millennium 4 carbon sole for efficiency and comfort. This shoe features a caliper buckle two-way ratchet for easy on-bike adjustment with incremental tightening and loosening as well as two velcro straps. This show is available in fuchsia and white (shown) or just white and comes in full sizes from 36 to 43 and half sizes from 37.5 to 42.5. Retail price is an affordable (for Sidi products) $199.99 and it is available now.
Also for this month of October, Sidi is showing its support of Breast Cancer Awareness month by donating 100% of their profits on select womens models to the National Cancer Institute to fund research. The models included in this program are the Wire Air Women, Drako Women (mtb) and the Genius Fit Women.
