The largest indoor event in Delaware returns to the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington next weekend.
The 11th annual Delaware Auto Show runs Friday through Sunday and will bring luxury cars, family fun and more. Hosted by The News Journal Media Group, the show is the state’s only new-model auto show and provides attendees with an early glimpse at some 2018 car models.
Around 20 different car manufacturers will have models on display. Cars ran the gamut from high-end luxury cars to everyday brands like Chevy, Ford and Toyota.
High-end sports cars on display include the Porsche 911, Maserati, Acura NSX (listed at $200,000), Ford Shelby Mustang and others.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days and starts with a party to kick things off Thursday night.
A limited number of tickets are also available now for the preview party with live music provided by Jellyroll. Tickets can be purchased at delawareautoshow.com for $55 plus handling fee. Admission includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and tasting stations. There will also be a photo booth provided by Two Peas In a Pod and a silent auction during the evening with proceeds benefiting the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Dress is business casual.

The News Journal will also have a Virtual Reality Experience Lounge.
Toyota will again give attendees a chance to test out its latest models at the Toyota Ride and Drive booth.
New Castle’s On-Site Detailing is offering $24 auto detailing and washes to show attendees all three days of the event.
On Sunday, author and auto mechanic Patrice Banks will speak in the Auto Show Auditorium and afterward sign copies of her latest book “The Girls Auto Clinic Glove Box Guide.”
Also on Sunday, Flyers legend Bob “The Hound” Kelly will sign autographs from 2 to 4 p.m.
