Chevrolet India is all set to launch its SUV Trailblazer on October 21. When launched, it will be the largest SUV in its segment dwarfing the segment leader Toyota Fortuner and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. This vehicle will be coming via the CBU route through Malaysia and will be available only in one variant.
The brawny exteriors are emphasized by Chevy family grille flanked by brick-cular and swept back projector headlamps, a sleek foglamp enclosure could be noticed on the front. The sides get understated wheel arches, large windows and kinked-out C-pillar that finishes into the wrap-around rear windscreen. The rear too is as boxy as the whole car and carries wrap around LED taillamp cluster, chrome garnish and a sleek lower bumper-respective to the SUVs size.
The dimensional data of the car stands at 4878x1902x1847 in length-breadth-height respectively, which makes it the largest of the lot. The wheelbase of the car is 2845 mm that takes up a weight of 2068 kg and with a the ground clearance 231 mm, it will make a mockery of potholes and bad roads.
Thanks to the huge dimensions, the interiors will be spacious and will be getting generous amount of space for every passenger, even for the third-row seats.
Speaking of the motor, it would be getting a 2.8 litre DURAMAX-latest from the American. This engine would produce 200 bhp of power and a humongous 500Nm of torque, this equals to a great pickup from standstill traffic conditions. These figures are channelled to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed automatic. Since, there will be only one variant available, there won’t be any 4X4 or manual transmission option.
