Fiat will launch its much awaited Abarth Punto Evo on October 19. The Abarth Punto Evo then promises to be the most powerful hatchback excluding the higher priced luxury hatchbacks, of course. The big news is surely the 145bhp 1.4 T-Jet engine which means that the Punto Evo finally has the power to match its looks. Also enthusiasts will like the fact that you only get a manual gearbox.
Plus it is not just the extra power as the suspension has been tweaked plus the brakes to handle the extra power so the SUV like ground clearance has been lowered but all this is not at the expense of ride quality. Inside and out as expected the Abarth Punto gets a much more sportier look than before and especially with those stunning alloys, the Abarth Punto Evo no doubt is one of the best looking hatchbacks that you can buy. Bookings are open and we will of course know the price on the 19th but one thing is for sure that it will be priced below Rs 10 lakh which makes it great value as for this price enthusiasts do not get a better deal as it is a proper hot hatch.
