New Delhi: Crisil Ltd on Tuesday reported a 23 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 87.05 crore for the quarter ended December 2015. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 70.79 crore in the October-December quarter of last fiscal. Consolidated total income during the quarter was up 18 per cent at Rs 385 crore, Crisil said in a BSE filing.
For the full fiscal ending December 31, 2015, Crisil reported a 6 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 285.16 crore.
Consolidated total income for the fiscal grew 10 per cent to Rs 1,381.6 crore.
The board has also approved a final dividend of Rs 7 per equity share and a special dividend of Rs 3 per equity share for the fiscal ended December 2015.
“Global Research and Analytics business grew significantly driven by opportunities arising out of the challenging regulatory environment and our strong capabilities in the risk and analytics areas.
“India business continued to strengthen their position in a subdued operating environment,” Crisil CEO and MD Ashu Suyash said.
The firm’s shares closed 1.41 per cent down at Rs 1,822.45 apiece on the BSE.
