Maruti Suzuki has finally brought in the new-gen Ertiga for the price of Rs 7.44 lakhs. It is slightly more expensive than the older model but it gets a whole new design. It moves to a new modular platform and compared to the older car the new Ertiga is also more upmarket. Appearance wise, the new Ertiga adapts a whole new design. The fascia gets a new grille which uses horizontal louvres with chrome inserts.
The new grille is flanked by sleeker headlamps which houses projector units. Meanwhile, the front bumper is also nicely sculpted.
In the profile, a welcome edition is a floating roof. The MPV is slightly bigger than before, measuring 4395x1735x1690mm, but it has retained its wheelbase.
The new Ertiga has moved to the Heartect platform, thus making it lighter than before. The newly-designed 15-inch alloy wheels get 185/65 section tyres.
The rear appearance is enhanced with L-shaped taillights which extends up to the D-pillar. There is also a chrome strip at the back with a revised bumper.
